Twitter
Share chess diagrams on twitter by posting your Chessimg.com URL (such as http://chessimg.com/1R)

Google Docs
Google docs is a great free way to store your chess study notes. Using Chessimg.com you can create and insert chess diagrams right into your Google Documents.
Open or create a new Google Document
Select the "Insert" menu items and choose "Image"
Select to Insert Image "From The Web (URL)" and enter your Chessimg.com image URL (such as http://chessimg.com/1R.png)

This is a great way to create Chess Documents on any computer with Internet access and without expensive programs such as Microsoft Office.
GMail (and other emails products)
- Click on the "Insert Image" icon, select the "Web Address URL" option and use your Chessimg.com URL (such as http://chessimg.com/1R)
Gmail will then download your image right into your composed email!

Facebook
Click on the link icon. That will allow you to enter a text description and supply your Chessimg.com URL (such as http://chessimg.com/1R)

RSS Feeds
Many RSS readers support displaying images. Using Chessimg.com you can create and insert chess diagrams into your RSS feeds.
Simply reference your Chessimg.com image URL (such as http://chessimg.com/1R.png)
Microsoft Word 2007 and Microsoft Outlook 2007
Click on the Insert Tab and then click on the "Pictures" icon.
When the "Insert Pictures" dialog box appears, simply enter your Chessimg.com image URL (such as http://chessimg.com/1R.png) on the "File Name" input field.
Make sure the URL ends in .png as Microsoft Word expects a link to an actual image.

Blogs - wordpress
Create a new post.

Forums (such as http://main.uschess.org/forums/)
Many online forums support a method of inserting images. These sites offer an [Img] button that inserts a string such as: [img] [/img] where you're required to enter a URL between the img tags. Use your Chessimg.com image URL to create a tag such as: [img]http://chessimg.com/1R.png[/img]
Select "Preview" to view your diagram in your post before submitting.
